Lorenzo, as we all called him at the WCB, was a kind, gentle soul. He was always there for us. Whatever our requests of the day were (and there were many), he was there to assist with a big smile and a gracious hello. He would greet us in the morning and extend a “good night” to us at the end of the day. Our deepest condolences to his family. He was a bright light in the world. He will always be shining down on us from above.
Love, from the WCB Court Reporters.

Grace and peace beyond unto you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First off I would like to say I will miss Lorenzia Weaver so much. Being around that man was such a wonderful feeling. He had such a great personality and was so funny, we had so many laughs. I remember when he introduced me to his wife they was so in love. It’s so nice to see people in love and married for so long ( God bless her ). My dear boy Chris, you’re father loved you ,
we had so many conversations about his wife and son and how much you loved them both. I will much him so much and I pray for his wife and son that god will touch their hearts. When Chris performed on the voice it warmed my heart to see Lorenzo and his wife together smiling and laughing for a glorious occasion. Chris hold your mother close , hold your mother tight and know that you’re father loved your mother so very much and nothing or no one can come inbetween them. AMEN

Lorenzo was my Man someone who will surely be missed. I had the pleasure of spending more then 22 years with Lorenzo at 175 Fulton Av. I could always count on him at least once a week to stop in my office at lunchtime and put a bowl of his homemade tunafish or one of his homemade soups on my desk and give me that great big smile. Then we would meet in front of the building at the mailbox and have some really really deep conversations to some of the funniest conversations the best laughs ever. Memories I will always hold near to my heart for the rest of my days.

  12. Nathaniel Hicks says:

Lorenzo, I met you in 2009 during my first trip to New York with Sabrina. During that visit you and I hit it off having conversations about politics and sports. Based on your personality and sincerity, I knew that we would enjoy each other’s time as we dated sisters. I can’t put into words how much you will be incredibly missed.

REST IN POWER MY BROTHER! You will never be forgotten.

    • Yvette says:

Although,I’ve known Lorenzo for over 20 yrs, had many conversations, shared private jokes, lots of laughs and he always greeted me with a smile, Monique & him even cruised with me & my family for 9 days, I won’t say that I knew him personally but what I can say is that I’ve never seen him angry, disrespectful or rude. He was always smiling & pleasant when anyone at 175 tried him. May he Rest In Peace, he will truly be missed.

Monique i’m praying God’s comfort for you and the family!

*{LORENZO}*πŸ‘‘ He was my *GUY that DUDE*😎 a great honorable friend and fellow brother.
Whenever I’d see him his face always had this glow about it – and he’d always have this infectious smile that said…
Man it’s good to see you again, and I hope your day is going as good as mine.
*LORENZO* always had a firm grip on that silver lining in every cloud. He’d always find a way to put a smile on your face and some laughter in your heart.
But most of all the thing I’ll always remember is the man’s ability to make your chops salivate while bragging about what an amazing menu he had lined up for the week from Monday to Sunday – what he was preparing to cook for himself *KING* and his lovely *QUEEN* Monique monday through friday and on the weekend “making” sure to mention he was only pulling out an extra three chairs for his honored guests in-laws (BETTY GRAHAM & MR SHELLY & DAUGHTER BRITTANY) boy oh boy the list various cuts of meats, seafood, vegetables and desserts – featuring a bit of barbecue this and barbecue that, baked this, and sauted that MmmmmmπŸ˜‹ MmmmmmπŸ˜‹ Yes the man truly loved to both shop and cook to prepare food for his loved ones.
Taking from the old school adage of “HALF OF THE WAY TO A PERSON’S HEART IS THROUGH THEIR STOMACH” We’d always talk about life the love of family and how rare it is to find true friends in these times we’re living in.

It was always such a great honor to spend time with him at Monique’s parents’ house in Freeport.
He fit in with that family like a hand in a glove and of course where else would you find him but behind the grill πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ getting his chef on 😁😊☺️ just waiting to see the smiles on everyone’s face after they tasted what he cooked up as he would be just chilling maxing
and relaxing with his buddy MR SHELLY…
But most of all, if you could see the way his face was light up when he’d greet MISS BETTY… Man he was always grateful and honored to be in her presence.
LORENZO – truly loved the ‘GRAHAM’ and they truly loved him.

LORENZO : Loved to work and took pride in the service he provided for the company he worked for as a part of the building management team.
He also found great satisfaction in the tenants’ appreciation for his services.

I truly will miss our conversations brother…
But your words will echo forever throughout the valleys of our memories.
Take care good brother until we meet again.

      Enjoy your rewards

Lorenzo was always very cool. Never felt any bad intentions when it came to him. He always showed my and my family love since day one and I will forever appreciate that. It’s truly sad to see him leave us in the physical but spiritually he’s watching over us and that’s something I can live with knowing he’s with us and he will watch over us. Time heals all wounds and it hurts now but eventually we will all be able to get through these hard times. Prayers to his family and mine. We love you. We miss you.

  14. Kee Rose says:

Uncle Lorenzo was a super solid and genuine man. Although I didn’t know him on a super personal level, he’s one of the kindest people I know. I’ve never seen him mad, ever. Even when he was irritated, he was kind. That speaks to his character. I am grateful for all the memories he’s given to my Aunti Nikki and the family in general. I can hear his laugh and his voice in my head. I pray that his soul is at peace. We’ll never forget ya!

Rest in Power, Uncle LorenzoπŸ’• Gone way too soon.

  15. Monique says:

Lorenzia is the greatest man that I have ever known. He showed me that I was worth loving. He loved me for 18 years. I loved him for 18 years. We both felt the same thing for each other. Lorenzia showed me that I was worth loving. I commend him on that. We shared so much together. I miss him so much. I want to show him that I have kept my head up and survived what the devil put in front of me. The devil is a liar and will always be when it comes to our relationship. I know he loved me and he knows that I loved him. My partner for life is gone. But he is holding me down. I haven’t popped off on any one, because I want to hold him in the greatest regard. He deserves to have people here for him. Speaking their truth about him. You can’t hide from the truth.

    • Jalen Rose says:

Awwww amen I love this so much, I love him so much and I will miss him very much.

    • Sabrina Michelle Graham-Rose says:

      Lo’
Hey brother-in-law! I thank you for being a kind and thoughtful person. You loved my sister and you held her down. You were a good father and a great uncle to all of our children. I will miss discussing politics with you, sharing funny You Tube videos and talking a little bit about sports. The first time the family met you over 18 years ago, we didn’t think you would come back because we are so loud and chaotic, but you did….you showed up everytime. Everytime you all traveled to Maryland we welcomed your visits and we made new memories that we will cherish. Stay watching over us and we will hold Mo’ down.

Of yeah…. you have a fish named after you.

      Much love,
      Your Sis
      Sabrina

Where do I start … I feel like I’ve known you for as long as I can remember. You came into my Aunts life which meant you were automatically apart of mines. And that wasn’t a problem for you. Even with all the women in my family … you fit right in. It’s like you were the missing piece to the puzzle. An uncle to my kids … a father figure to me. The amount of times we laughed and joked about it, I always thanked you for helping to fill that void. I’m thankful for all the fun times we had. All the jokes ! All the recipes we shared. All the talks. Being good to my cousin but more so for all the wonderful years you and my aunt shared. You brought out the best in her. Loving her unconditionally. Loving all of us. I’m grateful to have been on the receiving end. Remembering Lorenzia or who my kids call β€œUncle Morenzo” We love & Miss You! Forever in Our Hearts !

I miss you Lorenzia. Im keeping my head up because you are in my heart. The days keep me busy, but the nights are another thing. I know that you are holding me down. Ive had my breakdowns, but you make me remember all the good times. I keep my head up and keep moving on. I know you dont want me to be sad, but it hits me at night. Where are you? Why is it taking you so long to get home? Im waiting for you to call and say “can you open the door, i’m home”. I just want to see you walk through that door saying “Mo I’m home”. I dont know who I’m supposed to with you being gone. Im taking it day by day. Until we see each other again, Know that I LOVE YOU AND ALWAYS WILL. YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING.

Hi Lorenzia. I see all your pictures on the wall, and i cant stop thinking, “we were supposed to be together till the end of time”. But you had to go. You left me all alone. Why?
GOD NEEDED YOU FOR SOME REASON THAT I DONT UNDERSTAND. Im praying that you were needed to help all the other angels help someone else. You always helped people that were in need. I need you right now. Let me know that you are alright. Let me know you are with Rah and you are ok. That he is showing you the ropes. Love you, but miss you more.
